(From my poetry Collection 'Signatures')
Radha and Jamuna
In the meanwhile
I’ll be biting my
nails
sitting on the
river bed
sneezing in the
breeze,
waiting for you
to immerse my
loneliness
into you and swim
in with yours
while my
parrot sniffing at my shadow,
and all the people
I see around
got bundled into
one single human unit,
revolt claiming a
separate identity
and left me all
alone ;
To think of
my time lost in
waiting
with closed eyes
as if loneliness
blown me.
into many
pieces
I want to see your
many faces
every time I open
my eyes,
my languid
then it moves
consuming
bones, flesh,
blood, one after another
and all my
bodily movements,
making me a breathing corpse,
I become Radha and Jumna
Save me by kiss and
lick off the itching
of the scars made by tears
over my cheeks,
Come and promise me a bliss.
