A sweater and a cap

From my poetry Collection 'Signatures')
 A letter for you darling!
Darling dear,
then in the past  a last resort
was a letter for a lover!
Now a belch is heard
from the PC key boards
and mobile phones.
They sound their delight
of digesting the written letters
Yet none could stop
me writing this letter to you.
This is a morning;
I wantonly postponed
all my domestic humdrum
just to write this
 letter with woolen thread
and knitting needle.

Spring has bid farewell.
Winter wind would arrive sooner;
and I would continue
another letter to you
knitting a sweater
then these two letters
would enwrap you
with all my warmth.

Dear darling
don’t kick that much
within my abdomen;
Sometimes it pains,
Please wait
Let me finish this letter.
Might they sell
Many beautiful
woolen sweaters and caps!
They sell everything.
but they can’t sell
the pride of the mother
Knitting a sweater and a cap
for her kicking baby within
enjoying the pleasure in kicks.
