A sharpened pencil’s erasure bottom

(From my poetry Collection 'Signatures')
I beg excuse
From all women poets
for calling them women poets,
as poetry went gender free
there are only women
and only poets
but women who write poetry
may object being called otherwise;
I beg excuse
for revealing that they all
almost all are
very beautiful,
more beautiful
than their poetry;
None would deny
Poetry never can be prettier
than a beautiful woman;
One among them is
really much more beautiful;
I beg excuse
for not revealing who it is
Since it would rise
controversies and conflicts;
I know that poet
with a note book in hand
tapping a sharpened pencil’s
erasure bottom on her chin
suddenly changes to bite it
with her lovely teeth
swiftly getting  light in her eyes
for the catch of
a boon of a word
for the wanting  line.
It hit me
as poetry itself was born
for woman
And on what need she writes poetry
No poetry writes poetry on poetry.
All poets who are born male and female
might censure my weak spot ;
I beg excuse.
Let them write,
the freedom of beauty
expressing itself counts.
